A Bit Late for Halloween Eh?

I like to think of myself as being fashionably late. We had lots of fun this fall, K-Man makes Cookie and I more fun. For his first Halloween we decorated sugar cookies, carved pumpkins, and visited lots of family. My sister Cyncha came in from Seattle and Cookies brother Nate from Seattle. Both of them brought their fun families into town. Unfortunitly we forgot our camera, BOO! The Seattle Millers were dressed in the spookiest and most incredibly dazzling costumes. Cayden was a storm trooper, Marlee was Cinderella and Garrett was a very sweet little skunk. We had lots of fun sitting out the front porch at Marla's house (Heather's Mom) watching trick or treaters come to the door and watch Marlee give handfulls of candy to lucky trick or treaters. Cyncha's big guy was a very fierce lion. It was fun to compare our two guys Davis is amazing he is all over the place crawling like a pro. He is six months older then K-Man but they are about the same size. It is truely a tragedy that we didn't have our camera. Glama was is right the only picture you regret is the one you don't take (or the one you didn't suck in your tummy for) .

For All Those Baby Hungry Grandma's and Aunties

Hizzah for babies!!! We love being parents, K-man keeps us busy. He giggles all the time (except for manditory tummy time). He is working on doing push ups, sitting up and standing up on our laps with assistance of course! Everyday this guy changes, He is constently learning new tricks and is also a great chamilian. It is all in his facial features, I maintain that when he is smiling/ giggling he looks pure Davis and when he cries/grumpy he is pure Miller. Cookie however disagrees.

An Apology to Erika America

My good friend Erika and I met on a train heading into Siberia. We forgded a friendship on those long cold nights deep in Russia's outer darkness. Long story short Erika is great. She had recently posted a blog about Obama's wonderful win not being wonderful win for America. Obviously my first gut reaction is how she couldn't be more wrong. I then proceded to write a novel of a comment on her blog listing my reasons as to why we as Americans have nver been so lucky. I am always up for a spirited debate about politics. I still believe that Obama is the best man for the job and will do alot of good things to improve our country but maybe next time I will not shoot my mouth off so quickly on someone elses blog. I just can't seem to help myself. Long story short I love you Erika and I will do my best. Please don't forget your old pal Jendy when you privatize your blog.

Me and my Moma Voted For Obama!!

From my earliest memories I knew I was first and foremost a Democrat. In fact I like to joke that my Dad had eight children in an attempt to out breed Republicans in Utah. When we were young children we would chant before dinner (even before we blessed the meal) U of U YEAH!!!! BYU BOO!!!... DEMOCRATS YEAH!!!! REPUBLICANS BOO!!! This was perhaps my dad's favorite sunday night ritual especially when Grandmother Smith would dine with us. This is my favorite day in November and look forward to slummin it to the polls and hoping against hope that maybe this year my guy might win. In fact I have voted in every election that Ihave been eligable to vote. I barely missed that crucial 2000 Bush/Gore vote and it has been a long eight years my friends. I am gratefull for our democracy and that we as Americans have the right, oppurtunity, and the responsiblity to vote. God Bless America!!!

VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHO EVER YOU VOTE FOR, WHEREVER YOU ARE. JUST GET OUT THERE AND VOTE!
