Interesting Very Interesting...

OK maybe not, but I thought I would treat all of you with some interesting Nersey facts in honor of my 26th birthday on April 5th. These are in no particular order of importance. I am only doing this because I am having a hard time down loading ALL of our fun pictures going back to January.

1. I have a twin brother who told EVERYONE we grew up with that I got held back and the twin thing was a cover. I would be mad about it but I was angrier that I didn't think of it first.

2. I am obsessed with David Bowie in Labyrinth. You might say that his rock mullet, open chest shirts and Lycra pants changed my life. I almost named K-Man Jereth, fortunately Cookie has our babies best interest at heart.

3. When I was 10 we moved to the East Side and I had a hard time making friends so my Mom had the school counselor form something called the "friendship group" where little girls were bribed with candy to play with me at recess. Surprisingly the friendships have not lasted.

4. I was the only girl in the history of Girl 's State(political nerd camp for teenage girls) to be impeached. Haters!

5. I wish Dragons were real.

6. My nick name nersey evolved like this.. Jennifanerz, Nerseyfers, then finally to Nersey.

7. I still have entire conversations with myself

8. I can quote 30 Rock like its my Job.

9. I once gave a boy ulcers after I after I informed him that WE were Not dating, WE NEVER were dating and WE NEVER will date. To be fair we did go hiking together but never hugged, touched or held hands and I only found out his intentions after he tricked me into a family BBQ and his Grand Mother was sooo happy that he had found a nice girl to date. That why that douche got ulcers.

10. I was once a vegatarian for a total of 6 months... then my Mom made pot roast. Sorry animals it would be easier not to eat you if you were not so tasty!

11. I eat vegetables for breakfast.

12. I am convinced that I was a mermaid in a past life, or maybe a beached mermaid in my present life. Ether way my soul belongs to the ocean!

13. My 3 favorite books are 1. Rebbecca 2. Refuge by Terry Tempest Williams 3.East of Edan by John Steinbeck

14. I would say that my role models would by 1. My Mom and 2. Miss Piggy both incredibly strong women who have their men in CHECK!

15. When I was 15 I joined my high school swim team THEN learned how to swim.

16. I was captain of my high school swim team and then had a very illustrious career as a swim coach.

17. I have the cutest little boy in the world and love him to pieces!!!

18. I broke up with Cookie every month for the first 6 months we dated.

19. I am OBSESSED with Americas Next Top Model, any season.

20. When my father was running for Lt. Governor of UT. we were cruising around SLC in our family van that was covered in campaign signs I was in the back and decided to moon the car behind us. I was 4 but I still get blamed for throwing my dads election.

21. When I was in the 7th grade I started a rumor that a girl had hairy boobs and I know for a fact that it followed her through college. I am still waiting for Karma to kick me in the bum for that!

22. The main reason why I went to Russia was not because I wanted to teach children English but that I wanted to see Lennon embalmed....totally worth it!

23. I LOVE ZIONS!!! that being said I once took a nap on the Subway trail.

24. I am a creature of the Sun but unfortunately have only been tan once in my life and that only happened when my freckles connected. I have had at least one really serious sun burn every Summer.

25. I want to run a marathon BEFORE I am 30 yrs old. Which means I will need to start running like last week.

26. I have the absolute best family ever!

Seriously!?!?!?!

Warning the following blog contains TMI (TO MUCH INFORMATION) especially if you have a Y chromosome you really should stop reading here, just skip down to the cute post about Big Boy time and leave this on for the ladies. You have been warned don't come crying to me when you read something you never wanted to think about!

The funny thing about a blog warning is the people its intended for are still reading seriously...Last chance.

So this subject has been kicking around in my head for the last few months as I see this happening on more and more frequently when I go to the grocery store. The bagger usually makes some small talk about your purchase. About a year ago I went to get some Monastate for a ..ummm.. infection (remember you were warned)and the girl who was checking me through her line saw the medication and then went on to convey her sympathy for my then current condition, the girl was like 17 years old so I just nodded and smiled. The next time happened last spring I was standing behind a girl who had ice cream, diet coke and condoms, the checker was asking about her day and the girl said she had just finished finals and the checker said something to the effect of "ohh you must want to blow off some steam" the pay off came when the girl shot him a crusty and ripped the bag out of his hand and he muttered something about how he ment in general not about the purchase...Classic! One time at Costco right after we found out I was pregnant Cookie went to buy some prenatal vitamins and some condoms and the checker looked at his purchase and said to Cookie "don't you think its a little late for these" as he scanned the condoms, Seriously funny. Last night there I was at Dan's again buying some essentails for my little monthly friend and I had that 17 year old girl again talking about how THAT is just the worst! Thanks for sympathy honey but next time keep your yap shut! Why is there so much commentary on what your buying, why not just talked about something current happening in the world or about the Utes, something other then the embarrasing thing in my grocery basket? You would think that would be apart of their training. Am I the only one who notices this?

Big Boy Time and New Tricks!

Coach is the one drawing and Ashie is playing with the rooster

K-Man is one lucky boy, his two favorite cousins come up to play every Monday and Wednesday. These are a big day for him because on these days he sees big boys in action and he does his best to keep up with Ashie and Coach. On the day this picture was taken K-Man got a break the "BIG" boys decided it might be fun to slow thing down a bit. Every time I lay a blanket down for K-Man's tummy time both Ashie and Coach come over to keep him company while K-Man sweats it out. Recently K-Man has learned to roll so I was trying to get him to do it for Glama (she only believes what she see's). So there we were laying in our tummies trying to get K-Man to roll when Ashie walks in and say's "watch me I can roll!" then followed it by a fabulous steam roller across the floor. Not to be out done Hayden gets on the floor next to Ashie and then steam rolls right over his big brother! So funny, I wish I had my video camera going!
