Glama turns 60!!! Or if you prefer is celebrating her 21st anniversary of her39th Birthday The beans were so good the pan was passed around the picnic! Our January picnicThis post might require a little explanation. We have had some technical difficulties finding our photos on our computer so this birthday post is shall we say a bit late. I am going by my Grandmother Smiths adage that a birthday greetings still counts 6 months after the day and if it any later then consider it an early greetings for your next birthday.
Since Glama is such a special lady it was important that we have a blow out be fitting of this wonderful lady. Picnics are a time honored tradition in the Davis house hold, in the summer time nearly every Sunday is spent out on the back porch enjoying yummy BBQ, juicy conversation and Glama's beautiful hill. One picnic in particular tends to stand out in Davis kid memory (not mine because I was not born yet but heard the story enough that it feels like I was there) was the picnic in the family living room on a cold winters night where Glama and my siblings took turns running into the bathroom to flush the toilet so they could all enjoy the sounds from a near by water fall. Glama is always full of great ideas and kept all eight of eight of us thoroughly entertained and made us all feel like we were her favorite child. We spent this winter's picnic gathered as a family telling our favorite memories of Glama. We love you Glama!!!
